A researcher or student at one of the four Dutch technical universities can use 4TU.Startups to find the right transfer office on their own campus and to join international startup missions.

About

4TU.Startups is the name used for the startup side of the valorisation work of 4TU.Federation, the standing cooperation between the four Dutch universities of technology in Delft, Eindhoven, Enschede and Wageningen. The federation organises its work in research, education and valorisation, and brands the valorisation pillar 4TU.IMPACT; 4TU.Startups sits inside that. It is a programme brand rather than an organisation: it publishes no legal entity or separate contact details, and enquiries run through the federation secretariat in Enschede. Two things belong to it in its own right. It organises startup missions that take selected deep-technology companies from the four universities abroad, together with an impact challenge for student and spin-off teams, ideation labs and support days. And it acts as a signpost, sending academic founders on to the technology transfer and incubation organisation of each member university: Delft Enterprises and Impact Studio in Delft, The Gate in Eindhoven, NovelT in Enschede and StartHub in Wageningen. A cross-university thematic technology transfer scheme is listed alongside these.
