Adara Ventures is a commercial venture capital firm founded in 2005. It is a private investor rather than a public body or a support organisation, and it takes equity stakes in the companies it backs. The firm concentrates on deep technology, and its site groups its interests as new data frontiers, trusted artificial intelligence infrastructure, deep domain computation and real-world systems. It invests from seed through to growth stage, with initial cheques stated as 500,000 to 5 million euros, and it has raised a series of funds since 2006. Alongside capital it says it helps portfolio companies with building teams, entering new markets, board work during fundraising rounds and merger and acquisition decisions. Its stated geographic split is roughly three quarters Europe and one quarter the Americas, so companies based in the Netherlands fall inside the area it looks at.
