Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. For a student, PhD candidate or researcher at TU Delft with an aerospace idea, this is the first place inside the faculty to get space, coaching and industry contacts.
About
The Aerospace Innovation Hub is a pre-incubator run inside the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering at Delft University of Technology, in the upper part of the faculty building so that founders, scientists and students work on the same floor. The faculty's own pages describe it as launched in September 2019. It is a university facility and community rather than a company selling services or a public body, and it publishes no legal entity of its own. What is distinct about it is the combination of place and membership: its members are aerospace startups, student entrepreneurs, academics, corporate partners and industry professionals working on subjects such as space technology, sustainable aviation and drone technology, and they sit inside the faculty rather than beside it. What it offers is community space and offices, coaching under the faculty's Startup Voucher and Coaching Programme, introductions into aerospace industry networks, and access to university facilities and student researchers. It is also the point of contact for aerospace companies that want to work with the faculty. Its reach is the Delft campus rather than the country.

Good to know
- Neither the hub's own site nor the faculty page describes it as providing funding. What it publishes is workspace, coaching and network access, and the Startup Voucher and Coaching Programme belongs to the faculty rather than to the hub.
- It is a facility inside one faculty of Delft University of Technology, so it serves people connected to that faculty and its partners rather than founders generally.
- Its reach is the Delft campus. Aerospace founders elsewhere in the country are served by other incubators and transfer offices.
- It has no separate legal identity, which is consistent with being a university facility rather than a registered organisation.
