About
AgroAgenda Noord-Nederland is a partnership network for agriculture and rural areas in the northern Netherlands. Its own pages describe it as around forty five partners drawn from across the rural economy and the food chain: farmers and their organisations, governments, research institutes, education organisations and nature groups. A steering group of representatives from the agricultural chain sets direction, supported by a team of entrepreneurs and a small secretariat. Its work is organised as long running execution lines under three stated ambitions: entrepreneurship that is valued, water as the basis, and balance between agriculture and nature. In practice it holds network meetings, runs knowledge sessions and hackathons, coordinates joint projects with related regional initiatives, and keeps a public list of agricultural support schemes that are open for applications. It works with organisations rather than with individuals, and it publishes in Dutch.
