Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

Board membership is by invitation and sits at senior executive level. Organisations that are not board members take part through the partner programme instead.

About

Amsterdam Economic Board is a network organisation for the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Its members are senior executives invited from companies, knowledge institutions, governments and civil society organisations in the region, and the chair role sits with the mayor of Amsterdam. Some members also sit on an agenda committee that acts as its supervisory body. The Board describes its method in three words: connect parties that would not otherwise meet, put regional issues on the agenda, and speed up joint action. Its work is organised around three themes: Life Sciences and Health for a healthy region, Tech and AI for innovation in the region, and Energy and Industry for a green region including circular use of resources. Alongside the themes it runs an innovation lab, forms cross-sector coalitions, operates a partner programme that organisations can join, and runs a Young on Board track. Its stated aim is a future-proof regional economy with sustainable earning power, resilience and broad prosperity. The office is on Kattenburgerstraat in Amsterdam.

  • Nothing on its own pages describes a service, information or programme aimed at people who have recently moved to the Netherlands.
