About
Antler is a commercial early stage venture capital firm that operates in around thirty cities worldwide and keeps a Netherlands location centred on Amsterdam. Its model starts before a company exists. Applicants join a residency which the site says lasts roughly six to ten weeks and runs twice a year, with intakes in March and September. During the residency people meet possible co-founders, test business ideas and prepare to incorporate. Antler states that it can invest up to 500,000 euro at the founding stage and can continue to back portfolio companies through later rounds. There is also an invite only track for teams that already have early traction, open outside the residency dates. Its group privacy policy names a Singapore registered company as the responsible entity and gives a European address in Oslo. No separate Dutch legal entity, Chamber of Commerce number, Amsterdam street address or Dutch telephone number appears on the pages it publishes.
