About
AtVenture Platform is a privately run platform built around angel investing rather than a fund of its own. It works on two sides at once. On the investor side it runs cohort based and self paced training in how to evaluate a deal, structure an investment and judge risk, and it keeps a community whose members learn from each other, attend pitch nights and roundtable discussions, and put money into companies together. On the founder side it sources and curates early stage companies and presents them to that investor network, and it publishes a portfolio of the companies it has connected with capital. Its stated purpose is to change who invests and who gets funded, aimed at the underrepresentation of women and of other groups both among angel investors and among the founders who receive early stage money. Founders apply through a form on its site. The platform publishes no legal entity name, registration number, registered address or founding year.
