Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Most useful if you need a Dutch tax return filed in English, want help applying for the 30 percent ruling, or are an American citizen who has to keep filing United States returns while living in the Netherlands.

About

Blue Umbrella is a commercial Dutch tax and administration company based in Amsterdam and registered as Blue Umbrella Company B.V. It was founded in 2008 to help internationals claim child allowance, and it grew from there into a broader tax practice. It describes itself as an English-language interface between its clients and the Belastingdienst, the Dutch tax administration. It sells income tax return filing for individuals, business tax support and monthly payroll administration for small businesses, and it runs a dedicated service for the 30 percent ruling, a tax advantage for highly skilled migrants. It also handles childcare benefit applications and United States tax filing for American citizens living in the Netherlands. The company describes three groups of clients: employed individuals and benefit recipients, international expats and highly skilled migrants, and small business owners and entrepreneurs. It is a paid service rather than a public or free one, and the Belastingdienst remains the body that decides assessments, rulings and entitlements.
