About
Brightlands is the shared brand under which Limburg's science, health and technology campuses present themselves collectively. It is not one legal organisation. Its own about page describes it as a partnership between the Province of Limburg, Maastricht University, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences and Fontys University of Applied Sciences, together with several companies and institutions, with further support from the national government, private companies and European, national and local public funds. The brand covers four campuses: Maastricht Health Campus for health and sciences, Campus Greenport Venlo for health and nutrition, Chemelot Campus for circular chemistry, and a fourth campus for data and artificial intelligence. Its contact page carries no shared address or general contact route for Brightlands as a whole and instead sends visitors to each campus, which is consistent with the four operating as distinct organisations under a common brand.
