About
Briskr is a regional innovation support programme operating in Nijmegen and the wider Gelderland region. It is organised as a consortium with core, associate and supporting partners rather than as a single company, and the partners it names include Radboud University, Radboudumc, HAN University of Applied Sciences, the municipality of Nijmegen, the province of Gelderland, Oost NL, Health Valley, Novio Tech Campus and Kadans Science Partner. Its work is split across two sectors: health, building on Nijmegen's medical and life sciences base, and high tech, centred on semiconductor manufacturing, a sector present in the city since 1955. Its concrete activities include Meet&Greet networking events, workshops and training through Briskr Academy, a semiconductor packaging university programme, a Health Challenge Hub that connects clinical challenges to entrepreneurial solutions, the Startup Fonds Gelderland funding scheme, and help finding office, laboratory and cleanroom space through partners such as Radboudumc, Novio Tech Campus and Kadans Science Partner. It serves startups, scale-ups and established small and medium-sized companies in those two clusters.
