Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
A source of published figures rather than a service. If you need to check something about the Dutch labour market, incomes, housing or population, StatLine is the public database, and the Infoservice line answers questions about the figures themselves.
About
CBS, Statistics Netherlands, is the national statistics office. Its own pages describe it as an autonomous administrative body, a ZBO in Dutch terminology, which performs government tasks but is not directly subject to ministerial authority. It operates under the oversight of the Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, who carries political responsibility for its legislation and for its financial and organisational framework, under a protocol of working agreements. Its legislative basis is the Statistics Netherlands Act, and it was founded on 9 January 1899. Its statutory task is to compile statistics on a wide range of topics important to society and to make the results publicly available. It gathers data through surveys of individuals and businesses and from existing registers, among them the Personal Records Database and Chamber of Commerce files. Its website groups published statistics under headings including Figures, which holds the StatLine database and Open Data, alongside Labour and income, Economy, Society and Regional. CBS works from The Hague, Heerlen and a Caribbean Netherlands office in Kralendijk on Bonaire.
