Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Its three locations are each positioned around a different part of the sector, so which one is relevant depends on the technology: renewable energy and seaports at Delfzijl, circular plastics and polymer recycling at Emmen, biobased chemistry at Heerenveen.
About
Chemport Europe is an organisation, administratively based in Groningen, that supports companies working on sustainable and green chemistry, ranging from early-stage startups and scale-ups to multinationals. Its own site describes four areas of support: scaling innovations from lab to market, expanding a company's network within a green chemistry ecosystem, securing funding by connecting companies with partners and funding schemes, and scouting suitable locations, partners and regional networks. It organises this work around three named locations in the northern Netherlands. Delfzijl, in the Eemsdelta area, is positioned around renewable energy and two seaports. Emmen is positioned around circular plastics and polymer recycling. Heerenveen is positioned around biobased chemistry and early-stage technologies. Chemport Europe presents itself as a connector and facilitator for this ecosystem rather than a single research lab, investor or manufacturer.
