About
CIC Rotterdam is a commercial innovation campus and coworking operator inside the Groot Handelsgebouw, the landmark building beside Rotterdam Centraal station. It is the Rotterdam location of Cambridge Innovation Center, a company founded in the United States in 1999 that runs coworking campuses across North America, Europe and Asia. CIC Rotterdam sells memberships and leases: coworking desks, dedicated desks, and private customisable office suites for teams from one person upwards, plus meeting rooms, a staffed reception, high-speed internet, printing, mail handling and a Rotterdam mailing address. Members can also use other CIC locations worldwide through a Global Passport. Alongside the paid workspace, CIC Rotterdam hosts community events, including a monthly programme called CIC Monthly, and it runs an International Soft Landing service and Startup Visa facilitation aimed at founders from outside the EU who want to establish or expand a business in the Netherlands. It is aimed at startups, scale-ups, remote and hybrid teams, and larger companies looking for flexible office space rather than at individuals seeking free advice or housing support.
