Cottonwood Technology Fund is a venture capital fund that invests in early-stage through growth-stage deep technology companies. Its stated focus areas are photonics, optics, micro and nanoelectronics, advanced materials, nanotechnology, sensor technology, health sciences, climate and energy transition technology, advanced manufacturing, robotics and quantum technology. It has raised multiple funds, referred to on its site as Fund I through Fund IV. The fund operates on both sides of the Atlantic: it has Dutch offices in Enschede and Amsterdam, and United States offices in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Denver, Colorado. Its stated investment regions are the southwest United States, including Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Colorado and Oklahoma, and northwest Europe, mainly the Netherlands and Germany. Prospective companies submit a pitch deck through an online form to be considered.
