DFF Ventures is an early stage venture capital fund headquartered in Amsterdam, with further offices in Milan and Cape Town. Its own site states that it was previously called Dutch Founders Fund, and some of its accounts elsewhere still carry that earlier name. It has invested since 2018 across three funds. It backs companies at pre-seed and seed stage, occasionally earlier, usually as the lead or co-lead investor in a round. Its stated focus areas are marketplaces, vertical software for industries that are not yet heavily digitised, tech enabled services, and software supporting marketplace infrastructure, and it describes itself as sector agnostic while favouring business to business models over consumer products. It invests across Europe, the United Kingdom and the Middle East and North Africa, and states that it will also back founders based elsewhere whose operations are in those regions. Its team is described as former entrepreneurs who built companies of their own.
