Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Its contact page sets aside a fixed weekly telephone slot for tenants who would rather put their question in English or Arabic, answered by a member of staff who speaks all three languages.

About

Domesta is a woningcorporatie, the Dutch form of social landlord, with its office at Westeind in Emmen. Its own pages call it a people-focused housing corporation in Drenthe with more than 10,000 homes let at social rents in Emmen, Hoogeveen and Coevorden, and it is registered under Chamber of Commerce number 04017296. Besides letting, it maintains and improves the homes it owns, fits solar panel systems and builds new housing. For tenants it takes repair reports, answers questions about rent and service costs, and runs a complaints route that can end at a regional disputes committee. Published documents set out the general rental conditions and the social statute, which says what applies when a home is renovated or demolished, including a moving cost payment, temporary accommodation and priority for another home. A liveability department provides a contact point for each neighbourhood. A management board runs the organisation under a supervisory board, and it publishes annual reports and the performance agreements it makes with its municipalities.

What they offer

  • Repair reporting for tenants
  • Mijn Domesta, an online account for tenants
