Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
It also states plainly what it will not back: founders who are not open to feedback, capital-intensive industries such as hardware, and anything harmful to people or the environment.
About
Dutch Operator Fund I is a pre-seed and seed investment fund, described on its own site as an initiative of seven experienced Dutch entrepreneurs who are also active in investing in start-ups. The people behind it present themselves as operators, meaning founders who have built and scaled companies and sold several of them, and they offer that experience, a wide network and fast decisions alongside the money. The focus page sets out what the fund looks for: technology-driven startups in the pre-seed or seed phase, with their own technology or software development, first commercial traction already visible, a clearly defined market and target group, and a business model that can scale, preferably with recurring revenue. The founding team should be two to four people who are ambitious, dedicated and diverse, and second-time founders are preferred. Investments run from 75,000 to 200,000 euros. Named sectors are technology applied to climate, health, retail, bio, food and travel, plus software, software as a service and the circular economy.
