About
DutchBasecamp is a foundation based in Amsterdam, established in the Netherlands as a non-profit in 2013 and now sitting under a parent company. Its main work is cross border growth for startups: helping founders test demand in a target market before committing to it, running programmes and curated trade missions, matching each company with coaches who have already scaled a business abroad, and preparing founders for meetings with corporate buyers and investors. Once a company decides to expand, the parent company handles registration, tax structure and compliance work in the destination country. A separate track covers the Dutch startup visa: DutchBasecamp assesses whether a non-EU founder is eligible, supports the application, and then gives a year of guidance on winning first customers, meeting local compliance rules and becoming ready to raise money, with a desk in its Amsterdam office. Its own startup visa page does not state that it is an officially recognised facilitator for the scheme.

Good to know
- Its startup visa page does not claim recognition as an official facilitator for the scheme. Check the Immigration and Naturalisation Service's own list of recognised facilitators before relying on it for a permit.
- It supports founders and companies. It does nothing about housing, municipal registration or family matters.
- Part of what it offers abroad is delivered by its commercial parent company rather than by the foundation.
