Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
If you do not read Dutch, this covers the national news that actually bears on daily life here: housing, education, health and the economy, plus a standing series on the civic integration exam.
About
DutchNews.nl is a daily English language news site about the Netherlands. Its about page says the site launched in 2006 and that its publisher became part of the IamExpat Media group on 1 January 2026. The stated aim is to keep people who do not read Dutch up to date with the main Dutch news and to add background so events are explained rather than only reported. Sections cover politics, the economy, Europe, society, crime, health, housing, education, the environment, art and culture, and sport. A separate part of the site carries opinion, book and travel writing, food, a strand on learning Dutch, a recurring series on the civic integration exam, and a section answering readers' questions. There is also a podcast, a jobs section and a daily newsletter. Copy is based on the team's own research together with Dutch media and press releases, with sources credited where possible. The site is paid for by advertising, sponsored content that it says is always labelled, and reader donations.

Good to know
- It is a news publisher. It reports on rules and procedures but gives no advice on an individual case and cannot act for you.
- It is paid for partly by advertising and sponsored content, which it states is labelled as such.
- It covers the Netherlands nationally, so local municipal detail is usually outside what it reports.
