Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
International students and international staff are told not to join the ROOM.nl queue but to arrange housing through the institution they are joining. Those University Housing rooms are furnished, guaranteed if booked in time, and let for a fixed period of usually up to one year.
About
Stichting DUWO is a non-profit housing organisation that works only on student accommodation. It builds, lets and manages homes in nine places: Amsterdam, Amstelveen, Delft, The Hague, Deventer, Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Leiden and Wageningen, including whole campuses such as Uilenstede in Amstelveen, TU Noord in Delft and Leidse Schans in Leiden. The stock ranges from rooms where the kitchen and bathroom are shared to self-contained studios, in city centre buildings, new blocks and listed properties, many with a shared living room, study room or kitchen. Most rooms are let through ROOM.nl, where applicants join a queue, places go by length of registration, and people can register from the age of sixteen. Other lettings include short-term furnished Direct Offer rooms, homes for people who are not students, supported living, storage, parking and commercial space. For sitting tenants it handles repairs, rent and arrears, service costs and housing benefit, subletting and nuisance rules, safety and resident committees.
