Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
The talent theme answers a specific local problem: many residents commute out of the province to work, employers say they cannot find the staff they need, and the province struggles to attract young professionals.
About
Economic Board Flevoland describes itself as a joint initiative of business, vocational education, the municipalities of Flevoland and the provincial government, run as a programme aimed at sustainable economic growth in the province. It says it is independent and that it concentrates on companies that want to grow, building on networks that already exist. Its own summary of its method is three verbs: start things off, connect organisations that should be working together, and speak for Flevoland, which includes lobbying and promoting the province. The work sits under five themes: keeping talent in the province, access to capital, entrepreneur networks, strengthening growth sectors, and improving the region's image. Within those themes it defines challenges. These come from questions raised by entrepreneurs and are then delivered by partner organisations using their own staff and budget rather than by the Board itself.

Good to know
- Its challenges are defined by the Board but delivered by partner organisations using their own staff and budget, so the practical work happens with the partner rather than with the Board.
- Nothing on the pages read mentions international students, international workers or newcomers, and the site is only in Dutch.
