Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
The part someone can use directly is GroBusiness, the free first-line business desk it runs for the province, where scouts go through an entrepreneur's options and point the way to funding, networks and partners at no charge.
About
Economic Board Groningen, shortened to EBG, works from Winsum on the business climate for small and medium-sized companies in the province of Groningen, with the stated aim of a province that is good to work, live and spend free time in. It says it strengthens the economic structure by supporting, guiding, stimulating, activating, connecting and financing those companies. Much of the work is commissioned: EBG delivers programmes for the provincial authority and Nationaal Programma Groningen, and takes part in projects that others lead. The leisure economy programme develops tourism and recreation businesses. The Groninger Groeifonds provides finance for Groningen companies, and the Impulslening is a smaller loan of up to 100,000 euro. Other work includes an SME programme for entrepreneurs going through a damage or building reinforcement process, a feasibility voucher for northern Dutch companies that want to test an idea, the Innovation Center Connected Solutions where companies experiment with sensors, artificial intelligence, security and connectivity, and WaddenVisie, a Dutch and German project on sustainable tourism in the Wadden Sea area.
