Economic Board Regio Zwolle is the board that advises on the economic agenda of Regio Zwolle, a cooperation of twenty two municipalities spread over four provinces, with its office at the city hall in Zwolle. Around its table sit entrepreneurs, the secondary vocational and higher professional education institutions of the region, and representatives of the twenty two municipalities and the four provinces. Seats are set out by field rather than by company: agri and food, circular economy, health, the plastics industry, the financial sector, engineering and manufacturing, and space for economic and area development. The two national employers' organisations each hold a regional seat, a provincial deputy sits on behalf of all four provinces, and the national economics ministry has a regional ambassador at the table. The board has an independent chair and secretary and meets five times a year. Its output is written: it publishes the advice and the letters it sends, along with its meeting dates.
