Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
A student arriving in Leiden can use it to meet people quickly: an orientation week at the start of the year, regular international student nights, a Warm Welcome Service, and a room in Plexus to turn up at in person.
About
ESN Leiden is the local Erasmus Student Network section in Leiden and calls itself the largest association of international students in the city. It appears under two names: its site uses both ESN Leiden and ISN Leiden, short for International Student Network, for the same organisation. It works from the Breimer Common Room in the Plexus building on the Kaiserstraat and also publishes a post office box in the city. Its listed activities are an orientation week for students starting in Leiden, a cultural festival, international student nights held at a city venue, entry to clubs that is free for ESNcard holders, and trips inside the Netherlands and to neighbouring countries. It also publishes a student newspaper, runs a Warm Welcome Service, and takes part in a Europe-wide student volunteering programme. It presents itself as part of the wider Erasmus Student Network, and no university is named as a partner on the pages it publishes. It publishes no Chamber of Commerce number, association name, legal form or founding year, and the email address on its site is masked.
