About
ESN Twente is a student run association in Enschede that belongs to the Erasmus Student Network, which counts it among its sections here. It describes itself as organised for students by students, and says its purpose is to help international students in Enschede enjoy their stay and find their way in a new country. Its structure is set out on its homepage: seven part time board members and two committees with more than fifteen active members between them. The Merch and Promotion Committee handles promotion, marketing and merchandise, while the Event Execution Committee runs events on the day. The section says it organises more than ninety activities each year, grouped as social activities, day trips and parties. Membership is shown by the ESNcard, which it presents as the membership card of the Erasmus Generation and which carries discounts from local, national and international partners and reduced prices on its own parties, trips and events. Its address is Bastille 329A in Enschede, where it keeps an office students can visit. Its homepage names no university or college whose students it serves, and publishes no association name, Chamber of Commerce number or founding year.
