Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. A student arriving in Utrecht to study at any of the six higher education institutions the section names can buy an ESNcard whatever the length or type of their programme, including an internship or a PhD, and use it for discounts in and around Utrecht as well as nationally and internationally. The section publishes general information pages for internationals coming to or living in Utrecht, says it helps with housing, transport and practical questions, and runs a year round programme of trips, parties and workshops where a newcomer can meet local as well as international students.
About
ESN Utrecht is a student run local section of the Erasmus Student Network, based in the city of Utrecht. Day to day it is run by an executive board of six part time student members, with roles covering the presidency, the secretariat, finance, partnerships, communication and integration, and more than fifty committee volunteers work behind them. Nine committees divide the work: Activities, Alumni and Internal Events, Career, Culture, Introduction Week, Party, Pubquiz, Social Inclusion and Promotion. Two bodies check the board. The Supervisory Board is made up of former board members and meets the president and vice president once a month, and the Finance Committee reviews every income and expense and supports the treasurer. The activity programme covers sport, workshops, parties, pub quizzes and day and weekend trips inside and outside the Netherlands, and the section says it also helps students with practical information, housing, transport and finding their way around the city. Its contact page states that the ESNcard can be bought by international and Dutch students at six higher education institutions in Utrecht: Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences, HKU University of the Arts, the University of Humanistic Studies, Marnix Academy and Tio University of Applied Sciences, and by exchange, bachelor, master, internship and PhD students alike. The office is at Bolognalaan 101, room BOL 1.175.
