About
Exportclub Noord is a club for entrepreneurs and companies in the north of the Netherlands whose business involves exporting. Its own text puts networking first: the point is meeting other exporters, with experienced members and younger entrepreneurs learning from each other, and it calls itself an accessible knowledge and contact network. The organisation was created on 1 January 2020, when two earlier clubs, Exportclub Drenthe and Exportclub Groningen, continued as one. Activity is built around events at member companies and regional venues in Groningen, Drenthe and nearby Overijssel: visits to a member's premises, workshops on subjects such as using LinkedIn for export or handling international customer conversations, and sessions on trading with particular countries. The club states that it keeps close ties with the Kamer van Koophandel, the Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland, German network partners and the regional business bodies Ik ben Drents Ondernemer, GroBusiness and Metaalunie Noord. It is supported partly by members and partly by companies listed as Gold and Silver partners.
