From the Flux Forward organisation register · Not edited on this site How we check this

Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Membership is free and the profile is created online, which makes attending a local team's events a direct route to professional contacts for someone who has just moved to one of the five cities.

About

Female Ventures is a non-profit foundation in the Netherlands that states its purpose as advancing women in leadership and entrepreneurship, whether they work in a large company, a smaller business or a start-up. Membership is free and the organisation is run by volunteers who hold other jobs or run their own businesses. Five city teams, in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven and Delft with The Hague, organise the local programme: events on business trends and entrepreneurship, practical career skills such as negotiation and public speaking, leadership development and wellbeing, and monthly networking drinks. A national mentor programme runs once a year and matches mentees with mentors, and a strand for girls was added in 2024. Events are put together with partner organisations, which can also sponsor the community. The organisation started in 2016 at the Venture Cafe and CIC building in Rotterdam, became a non-profit foundation in 2021 and added a supervisory board in 2025.

  • The local programme runs in five urban areas: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven and Delft with The Hague. Only the mentor programme is described as national.
  • It is a volunteer-run member community, not a government authority or a funder.
  • No general email address, telephone number or postal address is published. Its contact page routes enquiries to city and functional teams.
