Founders Mesh is a private community for technology startup founders and investors, run from Amsterdam, whose main activity is a series of ticketed evening events. The format it is best known for is a networking ride on a boat on the Amsterdam canals, alongside a numbered main event series. Some editions are themed: rides limited to venture capital investors, evenings for female founders and investors, or sessions for founders building machine learning products. Events have also been held in Paris and Los Angeles, and the community presents itself as a link between the Amsterdam and Los Angeles startup scenes. Sessions combine informal pitching with networking and are usually organised together with a company that sponsors the evening.
