About

Future Tech Ventures is a venture capital fund investing in early-stage deep technology companies in the northern Netherlands. Its investment window runs from 2024 to 2029, and its site carries a co-financed by the European Union notice, stating that around half of the fund comes from the European Union's Just Transition Fund. Its money takes the form of convertible loans of up to 350,000 euro on terms it describes as friendly to entrepreneurs, and it comes with introductions to an expert network and support with business development. The stage it targets is proof of concept, which it defines as technology readiness levels three to six, or in its own words the phase between a technology that has been proven and a product that is ready for the market. The themes it invests in are health, clean technology and sustainability, digital technology including computing and artificial intelligence, and security and resilience. Applications are made through an online form on the site.
