About
G-Force Capital is an investment fund for technology startups in the province of Groningen. Between 2017 and 2023 it invested in more than twenty companies. Its stated conditions were that the startup was based in the province, had a working minimum viable product, could show traction in the market, and had founders with both technical and commercial backgrounds, and the fund manager also weighed whether the product had potential outside the Netherlands. Investments ran from 100,000 to 400,000 euro and were usually made together with other funds or with business angels, on terms the fund describes as transparent and friendly to founders. Alongside the money it offered help with the problems early companies meet and access to a network of investors, experts and markets. Since 2024 the fund has been in what it calls its management phase. It states plainly on its homepage, its about page and its contact page that it makes no new investments. It continues to support the companies already in its portfolio, works with other investors, and says it can give advice and arrange introductions.
