Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. It is four private investors acting together rather than a firm with a fund, and the way in is a pitch deck sent to one shared address.
About
Glass Frog Ventures is an angel investment group formed by four people who have run companies, started businesses and invested privately, and who decided to invest together rather than separately. It provides early stage growth capital and practical help, drawing on the four investors' own experience in areas such as building a proposition, sales, leadership, deal structuring and technology. Its published criteria are an early stage company with a scalable business model and some revenue already coming in, preferably with its headquarters in the Netherlands, and an investment of 50,000 to 500,000 euro. It says it also aims to lead or take part in follow on rounds in the portfolio companies that do well, and it states that it takes part in the Seed Business Angel arrangement of the Dutch government. Its portfolio covers both software and hardware, including patent data analytics, sales intelligence for makers of scientific instruments, a reusable glucose sensor, container load monitoring for shipping, recruitment automation, graphene based water filtration and building energy software.
What they offer
- Early stage equity investment of 50,000 to 500,000 euro
- Hands on help from the four investors to the companies they back
- Taking the lead in, or joining, follow on rounds in portfolio companies
Good to know
- It asks for a scalable model and some revenue already coming in, so it is not a source of first money for an idea.
- It states a preference for companies whose headquarters are in the Netherlands.
- No office address, registration number or telephone number is published anywhere on its site.
