Grensinfopunt Eindhoven is an advice point for cross-border commuters. It belongs to the GrenzInfoPunkt network, a set of service providers along the German, Dutch and Belgian border regions, and its own attention goes to the border between Flanders and the Netherlands. Large numbers of people cross that border for work every day and meet two different systems of tax, social security and labour law. The point explains what changes when somebody lives, works, does business or studies on the other side of that border in either direction, what they still have to arrange, and which government body or institution to approach next. It publishes brochures about remote working in English and Dutch, and it points people to the Dutch government cross-border information site and to the network site. It works from the offices of Holland Expat Center South on the Stadhuisplein in Eindhoven and answers questions by email and telephone. Its published email address and those of its account managers are on the municipality of Eindhoven's domain rather than the expat centre's, so it is not a standalone organisation and its pages do not settle whether it is a service of the centre, a municipal service hosted there, or a partner sharing the premises.
