Hospi Housing runs a website where people with a spare room in their own home, including host families, offer it to someone looking for a room. Its team page describes the organisation as a social enterprise whose first step was taken in the summer of 2018 and which is now active across the Netherlands. The site runs in Dutch and in English, and the English rental page states that many hosts and landlords welcome internationals and that a room seeker can keep their profile and their messages entirely in English. The platform does more than carry adverts. It says it speaks to every host and landlord itself and views every space before a listing goes live. A room seeker sends a chat request, the two sides talk, and only after that is a rental confirmed.
