About
impact030 describes itself as the ecosystem for impact entrepreneurship in the Utrecht region, meaning businesses that pursue a social or environmental purpose alongside a commercial one. Its own account says it was founded in 2019 by six Utrecht organisations, Starters4communities, SodaProducties, so/creatie, de Alchemist, Enactus and Social Impact Factory, who judged that provision for social entrepreneurs was fragmented and that the city had no shared network. Its services are advice for entrepreneurs, a personal growth track called Impuls that runs for about two months and is matched to the stage the business has reached, community groups where members exchange knowledge, local news and contacts, and a directory of what the region offers. It also profiles Utrecht impact businesses on its site, grouped by theme, for example labour participation, circular and sustainable production, the energy transition, food and social cohesion. The organisation has a director, a small team and a supervisory board, and publishes a newsletter and an events calendar.
