About
ImpactCity is the impact-entrepreneurship programme of the municipality of The Hague. Its own pages state that the municipality set it up and that it forms part of the city organisation, and the team it lists holds municipal job titles, so it is a public service rather than a private network or a membership body. Its work is organised around six aims: making lesser-known companies visible, opening access to a relevant network, opening access to capital, providing infrastructure that supports growth, opening access to talent, and creating room to experiment. In practice it directs entrepreneurs to funding routes including subsidies, help with a subsidy application, business angels and investor-readiness support; to startup housing and impact hubs in the city; to an appointment with startup support staff; to an innovation toolkit; and to soft-landing support for companies arriving in The Hague. It runs recurring events and competitions and maintains a Dealroom database and a directory of the local impact ecosystem. It publishes in Dutch and English.

Good to know
- ImpactCity signposts and convenes. It does not itself award subsidies or invest: those decisions stay with the granting body, the investor or the fund it refers you to.
- It is a municipal programme for The Hague, so its premises, network and soft-landing support apply to companies establishing themselves in that city.
- It works with businesses and founders. It does not handle residence permits, registration, housing or other personal formalities for people moving to the Netherlands.
