Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Access to Dutch mental health care normally runs through a Dutch speaking general practitioner. This practice publishes only in English and is booked directly, through a form and a free short telephone consultation.
About
Inclusive Psychology is the practice name of a single counsellor and coach who offers individual sessions in Amsterdam and Utrecht and online. The site is written in English and its own page titles describe the work as therapy for expats in Amsterdam, including adjustment to life abroad. Three services are named: individual counselling, coaching for highly sensitive people, and burnout prevention and recovery. The topics listed include impostor syndrome, self esteem, anxiety and stress, balancing work and private life, quieting a harsh inner voice, setting boundaries, processing the past and finding direction. The counsellor describes using research based methods and names mindfulness based cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, Ericksonian hypnotherapy, existential humanistic therapy and person centred therapy, adjusted to each client. Work starts with an intake session in which goals are set, followed by a proposed number of sessions and reviews of progress along the way. New clients can request a free twenty minute telephone consultation through the contact form.
