From the Flux Forward organisation register · Not edited on this site How we check this

Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Its customers are companies, so a newcomer meets this network indirectly: its members are the bodies that bring foreign employers to Dutch regions, and its site points arriving companies towards the expat centres that handle registration and permit formalities for their staff.

About

Invest in Holland is a partnership rather than a single organisation. Its members are the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency, which is an operational unit of the economic affairs ministry, together with the regional economic development agencies, several large cities and the Holland International Distribution Council. The partners named on the network's own page cover Amsterdam, Brabant, the east of the country, Flevoland, Zuid-Holland, Zeeland, Limburg, the north, Rotterdam, Noord-Holland Noord, The Hague and the Utrecht region. The purpose of the network is to help companies based outside the Netherlands work out where and how to establish operations here, and to keep supporting them once they have arrived. Its published offer is free and confidential support for new foreign companies and investors as well as for foreign investors already running operations in the country. In practice a company approaches the national agency first and is then passed to the regional partner covering the province or city under consideration. The website is operated by that national agency, which is why the two names appear side by side on it.

What they offer

Good to know

  • It is a network of member organisations rather than a body of its own, and it publishes no address or telephone number of its own.
  • Its published services are for foreign companies and investors. Nothing on its pages offers anything to an individual looking for work.
  • One of its members is a ministry unit, but the network itself is not a government body.
