From the Flux Forward organisation register · Not edited on this site How we check thisHide
Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
It should not be confused with Invest-NL, which is a separate institution whose mandate is domestic. The realistic user here already runs a Dutch-registered company that exports, builds or invests overseas.
About
Invest International was founded in 2021 by the Dutch government and the Dutch development bank FMO, and it is owned by the Ministry of Finance together with FMO. Its mandate points outward from the Netherlands. It finances Dutch companies, and companies with a Dutch link, that want to trade, build or operate in other countries, and it also backs public infrastructure projects for governments abroad. It steps in where ordinary commercial financing is not available, describing its purpose as filling a financing gap. The products it names are investment loans and structured finance, export finance, equity, and funding for project development, and its clients range from start-ups and smaller companies through mid-sized corporates to public infrastructure. The sectors it concentrates on are energy, water and infrastructure, agri-food, health and manufacturing, and the cases it publishes come from countries including Peru and Vietnam as well as African markets.
