Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

About

IQONIC is the part of Tilburg University that covers entrepreneurship, from courses through to company formation. It is a unit of the university rather than a separate legal body, and everything it publishes lives inside the university's own campus pages. The incubator is in a building on the Tilburg campus alongside the university's innovation space and its bachelor of entrepreneurship, and offers meeting rooms, flexible desks for the pre-incubation stage, and office space for startups founded by the university's students and researchers. Business developers advise founders one to one and take part in the Brabant startup programme that brings together six Brabant higher education institutions and six Brabant development companies. Free training modules cover subjects including lean startup, the business model canvas, value proposition, startup finances, investor readiness, sales, marketing and pitching. Loans from 5,000 to 350,000 euro are listed as available through named partner funds. Students recognised as talent can combine study and a company under the university's dual career rule.

Good to know

  • Its incubator places, coaching and free modules are for startups founded by the university's students and researchers, plus alumni and staff. A regional company with no link to the university is outside that.
  • It is a unit of the university, not a separate organisation, and has no website, address or contact route of its own.
  • The loans it lists are made by named partner funds with their own criteria, not by the centre.
