Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Part of the national programme runs in English, including an English talent programme and an online conversation group, so you can join free workshops and networking without a Dutch language route first.

About

JobOn is a Dutch foundation with public benefit status, set up in Utrecht in 2013 under an earlier name by three people who wanted contact with others while looking for work. It has grown into a national organisation with a core team, a board and a supervisory council, funded by a mix of participant donations, municipal subsidies, business sponsorship and grants. Taking part costs participants nothing. Its activities are open to anyone who wants to move in their career: workshops on job applications, networking, personal development, entrepreneurship and mindfulness, run online and at locations around the country, plus online courses including interview practice and a course on artificial intelligence at work. A talent programme turns participants into volunteer event managers who organise workshops for other jobseekers while receiving coaching themselves. Other standing parts of the programme cover digital skills and what automation means for finding work, a national day on which people visit an organisation or speak with professionals about a role, and a professional network group where employers and jobseekers share openings. It also carries out commissioned projects on reducing labour market mismatches.

What they offer

Programmes

  • Talent programme, in Dutch and in English
  • FutureLab, on digital skills and automation
  • National work visit day

Good to know

  • It is a community and a training programme. It does not place you in a job and is not a recruitment agency.
  • Only part of the programme runs in English; most workshops and courses are in Dutch.
  • It is funded by donations, municipal subsidies and sponsorship, so what runs in a given period depends on that funding.
