Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

About

Kamernet is a commercial rental marketplace for the Netherlands, running since 2000 as a website and an app. Landlords, letting agents and people looking for a housemate place adverts for rooms, studios and apartments, and people looking for somewhere to live browse those adverts, filter them and arrange viewings with the advertiser. Kamernet states that it is not an estate agent, a housing provider, a broker or a landlord, but a platform that brings supply and demand together. The charging model is asymmetric. Advertising and letting cost the advertiser nothing, and searching, filtering and receiving updates cost nothing, but a tenant who wants to reply to an advert needs a paid Premium account. Kamernet processes no rent or deposit payments, which are settled directly between tenant and landlord, and the site tells users never to pay a deposit or rent before viewing the property and signing a contract. New and changed profiles and adverts are screened by hand and with automated tools before they go online, and landlords can verify themselves through iDEAL, which then appears as a badge on their profile. Adverts cover cities including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen, The Hague, Eindhoven, Delft, Nijmegen and Maastricht.
