Keen Venture Partners is a venture capital firm investing in fast-growing technology companies in Europe, mostly at an early stage. Its published portfolio entries show tickets at pre-seed, seed and Series A in companies based in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Finland and Switzerland, among them a drone operations platform in Groningen and a radar software company in Delft. The firm says it prefers to build a relationship with founders long before any funding question arises, sharing network and experience first and money later, and it states openly that some of those conversations never lead to an investment. It works from two offices, one on Passeerdersgracht in Amsterdam and one at Michelin House in London. Its two published investment themes are technology for small and medium-sized enterprises, meaning artificial intelligence software for SMEs across Europe, and defence and security. It shapes those themes through what it calls thesis sprints, time-boxed deep dives combining research, conversations with operators and expert input, and it treats the resulting theses as documents it keeps revising.
