About
Kennispoort Regio Zwolle helps business owners in the Regio Zwolle area with questions about making their company, services and processes ready for the future. An entrepreneur brings a question, an adviser thinks it through with them, and the organisation then matches them to one of its projects or programmes, to an expert, or to other business owners with the same problem. Its own pages describe the advice as independent, free of charge and practical. It also organises events and guidance tracks, and it awards a yearly innovation prize for the region, whose trophy is designed each year by an entrepreneur from the area. It works with education too: with the family business centre at Windesheim and with Landstede MBO it restarted the province of Overijssel's Family Next programme, and it takes interns from the Cibap vocational college. Its partner list shows how it operates, naming an innovation hub for plastics, neighbouring entrepreneur support organisations in Flevoland and Drenthe, and a knowledge partner in Dronten. It sits on the seventh floor of the BijHanz building at Hanzeplein in Zwolle.
