Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.

More about where our information comes from

Someone offered a social rental home in the city of Groningen or in one of the four other municipalities may well have Lefier as the landlord, and student housing is among the property it lets.

About

Lefier rents out property in five municipalities across the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe: the city of Groningen, Midden-Groningen, Stadskanaal, Borger-Odoorn and Emmen. Its letting is not only social rent. Its working area page lists social rental homes, student housing, mid-market and free sector rentals, housing combined with care, business premises and parking places. The organisation works through five area teams based at four locations. For a tenant the website is mainly a service desk: report a repair, pay the rent, end a tenancy, report nuisance, and change personal details through a Mijn Lefier account. Around that it publishes an annual plan and an annual report, works with resident committees and tenants' organisations, and sets out how to complain, including a disputes committee and the national rent tribunal. It makes performance agreements with the municipalities it works in. The site also has an estate agency arm and a section on building and renovation projects. Post goes to a PO box in Emmen.

What they offer

Good to know

  • Its working area is five municipalities: Groningen, Midden-Groningen, Stadskanaal, Borger-Odoorn and Emmen.
  • Access to a home depends on the registration, eligibility and allocation rules of the platform concerned rather than on the corporation alone.
  • Every page is in Dutch, including the repair, rent, tenancy and account pages, so a tenant who does not read Dutch will need help to use them.
