Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Its site is published in English and it keeps an overview of its member companies, which is one way for an engineer or a supplier arriving in the north to see which firms in the region work in offshore wind.
About
NNOW stands for Northern Netherlands Offshore Wind. It is a cluster organisation for companies that are active in offshore wind, or want to be, and it works from the northern ports: Eemshaven, Harlingen and Den Helder. Its own pages say the group was founded in 2010 on the initiative of NOM, Energy Valley and NHN, with the stated aim of supporting companies in the north by joining forces between businesses, knowledge institutes and government bodies. Membership is open to any company in the region that is active in offshore wind or would like to be. The work covers networking, exchanging knowledge, joint promotion and acquisition, research and business development, and training people with the right qualifications. A central activity is mapping the offshore wind supply chain: NNOW divides the market into development, construction, and operation and maintenance, with dismantling treated as construction in reverse, splits each phase into supplier tiers, and marks which tiers its member companies can already cover and which none of them serves. The office address is on Schildweg in Eemshaven.
What they offer
- Joint promotion and acquisition activities for the cluster

Programmes

Good to know
