About
No Such Ventures is a venture capital firm registered as No Such Ventures B.V. at Wibaustraat 99 in Amsterdam. It backs what it calls software first founders in Europe, and names three things it looks for: companies that join Europe's separate national markets into one market, companies that make European business more digital and more automated, and companies that strengthen European sovereignty. Investments run from about 500,000 to 5 million euro. The distinctive part of its model is what it calls the collective, a group of experienced entrepreneurs from businesses including Adyen, Booking and Flow Traders who stand behind the firm. For each investment the team picks a small number of collective members it thinks can help that company most and invites them to put in their own money alongside money from the fund. The two are combined, so the company ends up with one investor on its cap table rather than many. Founders approach it through an application form on its site. Its earlier domain, nosuchventures.com, now forwards to nosuch.vc, where the site sits.
