Organisation records are published from the Flux Forward organisation register and shown here exactly as that register holds them. We do not research, write or edit them on this site, and a listing is not an endorsement or a sign that an organisation can help with your situation. Check the organisation's own website before acting.
Every part of the site, including the programme and support pages, is published in English as well as Dutch, and Novel-T presents itself as the first stop for researchers and students of the University of Twente and Saxion who want to build a company. An international student, PhD candidate or researcher in Twente can therefore use its business development support, programmes and investor introductions without needing Dutch.

About
Novel-T is a foundation, named on its own terms and conditions as Stichting Novel-T, based at Hengelosestraat 500 in Enschede. It states that it delivers its support independently and without a profit motive, on assignment from the parties it calls its founders: the University of Twente, Saxion, the Province of Overijssel, the Municipality of Enschede and the Twente Board. Its footer carries a WNT accountability page, the pay disclosure required of publicly funded Dutch bodies. Support is organised around three entry points, startup, SME and researcher, and around a five step roadmap of ideation, validation, startup, search for capital and scale-up. In practice that means one to one work with business developers, recurring programmes and workshops including the Start Program and the GROW Program, introductions to investors and experienced entrepreneurs, and study projects that pair students or companies with a question. Published cases include university spin-offs in photonics, x-ray optics and antibiotic delivery as well as engineering firms in the region. Novel-T describes itself as the starting point for entrepreneurial researchers and students of the University of Twente and Saxion, and states a goal of helping 100,000 entrepreneurs by 2033.
