About
O3NL, formally Stichting O3NL, is a Dutch foundation whose name stands for Ondernemen, Ondersteunen en Ontwikkelen in Nederland, meaning entrepreneurship, support and development in the Netherlands. It has one main activity: a mentor programme that pairs people building technology-based ventures with experienced mentors. The programme is based on, and run in cooperation with, the Venture Mentoring Service of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the foundation describes a long-standing relationship with that university. Mentors advise under the foundation's principles and code of conduct, which commit them to impartial advice, and matches are made according to what the entrepreneur needs and where a mentor's expertise and interest lie. An entrepreneur applies by emailing the foundation with an executive summary and a description of the support wanted. It keeps separate pages for entrepreneurs, for mentors and for its sponsors, and its visiting address is on Gustav Mahlerplein in Amsterdam.
