Orange Sports Forum

Orange Sports Forum, usually shortened to OSF, is a joint initiative of Dutch companies and institutions that work in or around sport, set up to help them sell abroad. It describes its participants as covering both hardware, such as sports infrastructure, venues, finance and advice, and software, such as training, coaching, nutrition, event organisation and sports marketing. Its work runs on three lines. It builds a knowledge base on foreign sports markets. It starts, guides and coordinates outgoing and incoming sports trade missions, can arrange support through political and economic diplomacy, and coaches companies preparing to export or dealing with a specific country. And it organises network and information meetings for companies, embassies and ministries, keeps contact with Dutch embassies, consulates and trade offices abroad and with the responsible ministries, and helps participants find subsidies and finance. It also promotes Dutch sport-related organisations internationally, focusing on their knowledge and technology rather than on Dutch sporting results. Its office is on Schimmelt in Eindhoven.
